If you have suffered from tinnitus at all you will know just how frustrating it can be. Having a constant ringing in your ears is enough to leave you irritable and much more in some cases. I know just how frustrating the ringing in the ears can be especially when it wont let up for even 5 minutes. There are however several things you can do in order to give youself some relief from them. To start with, you can try leaving an untuned radio or TV on - the "white noise" can help to mask the ringing sometimes. You can also tapping method posted here.
It isnt always ringing in the ears though....
Tinnitus can present itself in a variety of ways. While the most common description is ringing ears, there are many people with tinnitus that never hear ringing. Some other common noises are buzzing, clicking and clicking. Although the noise doesnt usually change, it is not known wether or not different causes result in different sounds
